The history of Oregon winemaking

"The Boys Up North: Dick Erath and the early Oregon winemakers" is a phenomenal book for anyone with a special interest in Oregon wine. It covers the early history of the wine industry in Oregon (starting, I believe, around 1960), and the decades-long debate about whether or not Oregon was the right place to grow Pinot Noir.

Years of awards and international accolades for Oregon wine validates the fact that we have great terroir.
